Oh wow! Precision carving - fabulous! Thanks for sharing your process. I usually don't fuss with too many details, gets me all anxious trying to get into tight spots. But I love creating some organic or even super simple shapes, because the stamped look is just cool!

Ever heard of letterboxing? That's what Jonah was learning about at the library the other night. You need your own personal stamp....

@ linda--you're welcome! and isn't it fun? and the carving blocks aren't that expensive, so the idea of messing up doesn't make me anxious like, say, cutting expensive fabric all wrong! or breaking my sewing machine, which is still a fear of mine!

@ Jill, yes, but we haven't done any yet. Maybe this is the summer, now that G is a little older?

These look great! Those tools are excellent for carving pumpkins,too, BTW.
